Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we want to be fair while protecting the time and work that goes into every cake. Please read the below carefully before placing your order.
CUSTOM CAKES
Deposits
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all custom cake orders.
For orders over $500, this secures your booking and covers initial preparation costs.
Final Payment
The remaining balance is due at least 7 days before pickup or delivery.
Cancellations
More than 14 days’ notice: You may cancel your order. Any payments made beyond the deposit will be returned to you as a store credit, valid for 12 months.
7 to 14 days’ notice: You’ll receive a 50% store credit of the total order amount.
Less than 7 days’ notice: We cannot offer a refund or credit, as work has already started or been scheduled.
Design Changes
Minor changes can be made up to 10 days before the event. After that, changes may not be possible and could incur extra charges.
Rescheduling
You may request to change your date with at least 7 days’ notice. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but it depends on availability.
READY-DESIGNED CAKES (Purchased Online)
These are our pre-set cake designs that can be ordered directly through the website, with as little as 3 days’ notice. As these cakes are paid for in full at checkout and production begins shortly after the order is placed, the following policy applies:
Cancellations & Changes
Orders can be cancelled or amended within 24 hours of purchase, provided your cake hasn’t already entered production.
After 24 hours, we are unable to offer cancellations, refunds, or changes due to the short turnaround time and preparation required.
Please double-check all details before completing your order.
Refunds & Complaints
Due to the handmade nature of our cakes, refunds are not given for change of mind or after the cake has been collected or delivered.
If you believe there is a fault or issue with your order, please get in touch within 24 hours, and we’ll do our best to resolve it. In some cases, we may request the product be returned for assessment.
Allergies
Our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs. While care is taken, we cannot guarantee any product is completely allergen-free.
Pickup & Delivery
Once your cake leaves our kitchen, we are no longer responsible for any damage during transport or storage. We recommend keeping your cake in a refrigerated environment below 5 degrees celsius, in its original box, away from direct sunlight and following the care instructions provided.
